Certified Microsoft IT Technical Support Providers (CISCSUPPORT)
Can anyone give me information on a company called CISCSUPPORT, who have called me a number of times stating they are the IT support providers for Microsoft. They have asked me to open my event viewer and told me that the error and warning messages I can see are creating operational problems with my computer, they then ask me to go to my internet browser and enter the URLwww.ammyy.com and request remote access to my computer. They have been very persistent and they say they represent Microsort and and replying to error messages I have sent when I get the pop up from microsoft asking if I want to report errors that occur on my computer. They say that the errors and warning are virus files that have entered my computer when I have downloaded information and files from the internet. They are so persistent that even though I asked them not to call they seemed to have me on speed dial and every time I hung up the phone they phoned me back immediately to the point I stopped answering and let the calls go to voice mail until they gave up.1 person needs an answerI do too

This is a scam by someone who's trying to steal your information and take over your computer. No legitimate company makes calls like that, and Microsoft doesn't authorize anyone to do it.Error reports that your computer sends to Microsoft don't contain any information that would allow someone to identify you or contact you.For more information, please see Avoid scams that use the Microsoft name fraudulently .Boulder Computer Maven Microsoft Most Valuable Professional

Yes, it is SCAM for sure. Microsoft will never call you unless you ask them to call you, have a look at:http://cyberdefend.wordpress.com/2010/05/14/hello-i-am-from-microsoft/
