I want you say me your experience when installing win7 RC in old pc's. Hi cell-Follow Carey's advice and run the upgrade advisor.See the following website for the Windows 7 system requirementsto make sure your computer meets all of the requirements.Your CPU and RAM meet the requirements, but there is a lot more that you need to check.Make sure that all of the other installed hardware and software is compatible and that they are supported in Windows 7. Hello Cell-one of the machines where I test Windows7 is a Semprom, Dicrete VGA Nvidia and 2 Gbs of Ram.I see no difference with your settings.Regards and g'luck! W7 RTM x64 running along with Office 2010 x64 TP hope my computer won't crash! ;)

of course it can't compare to a Intel Core 2or AMD Phenom machine but usable.I'd put win7 on a Pentium M 1.0GHz & 2GB RAM PC,runs okay, email &web browsingare noissue at all.MCITP - Enterprise Support Technican, MCITP - Enterprise Administrator, MCITP - Enterprise Messaging Administrator
