xt912_Verizon wireless intruder

Anyone else run into this?

To briefly recap my wireless router is setup with: SSID is not broadcasting, MAC address filtering and a long random string WPA2 key yet this phone keeps sporadically showing up in the network tab of file explorer on my Win 8.1 pc. When I click the phones properties I can see it's MAC address but the IP is blank and it never shows as an attached device by the router. Over the last few months I have also seen several other phones, a Samsung SGH-I337 and have captured the MAC's of each device. I ran the MS Malicious software tool as well as Malwarebytes but everything is clean. Anyone else experiencing this or have any helpful security tips.

Thanks.

Hi,

Firstly,we need to confirm if these phone  is a real connection.

When the phone appears in the network tab of file explorer ,please login your wireless router to see the conncetion list if the phone exists.

Meanwhile, uncheck "Turn on automatic setup of network connected devices" .

First of all thanks for your help and input. Secondly I went through every PC in our house, 2 desktops, 2 laptops and 4 Surfii RT's and made sure each had the automatic setup of Network connected devices unchecked as shown above. Most were already in that state but a few were not. Having done that the phone just showed up again a few minutes ago in the network tab of file explorer. I can read the MAC address but no IP and it does not show as an attached device in the router portal.

Any other ideas?
