xp guardian
i am wondering how to remove the rogue spyware xp guardian thats imitating window security centre.I can only go online if i use the task manager to "end now" every few minutes!! i've run a complete scan with essential, defender and malicious spy removal tool and nothing detects it -even though the spyware pops up during a scan. It's very frustrating and time consuming to say the least. Is there any known "cure" to get rid of this?1 person got this answerI do too

Give this removal guide a try: http://www.myantispyware.com/2010/01/28/how-to-remove-xp-internet-security-2010-xp-guardian-antivirus-xp-2010/ Please note that if multiple infections are present, the guide will not address all of them, and you may need to run more specialized tools under the supervision of trained experts. If you are still having problems and/or would like a follow-up check to be sure the infection as well as vulnerabilities are gone, please post on one of the malware removal forums that uses trained volunteers to advise on step-by-step cleanups. Those forums can be found at the links in the recommended sites sections on these pages: http://hjt-data.trendmicro.com/hjt/analyzethis/index.php http://asap.maddoktor2.com/ Please post at only one, and be sure to read the posting instructions at the top of the forum that you select. Individual forums may require tools to be run prior to posting. 1- Download and install this software ( malwarebytes) http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html (If the spyware is not letting you download or install the software, then go to safe mode with networking and download it.) 2- Update it. 3- Delete the internet temporary files of all your web browsers. 4- Restart the computer and go in safe mode. 5- Run malwarebytes and perform a fill scan. 6- When is done click show results and then remove selected. I suggest you to do that process at least once every month to keep your computer clean.
