xbox 360 streaming
I'm trying to setup video streaming to my 360. I have disabled the firewall while trying to setup I have managed to stream the sample file which is in the shared video folder but my user video folder does not even show up on the 360. Any chance of a step by step on how to set it up. I cant seem to find one anywhere. Also obviously its a bad idea to have my firewall disabled, which ports do i need to open.

I have found at least part of the solution. I opened media player and rebuilt my library. I had to remove the current folder and then re add it. It then took some time for media player to go through the files in the "new" folder. Once media player had finished rebuilding my library all the files were available from my 360 (with firewall disabled) So basically go into manage libraries in WMP and remove all the folders and then re add. Still need to know the firewall ports though.

The XBox360 site should tell you what ports you need open to stream to the system. Have you checked there?
