I m trying to use Xampp on Windows 8.1. My Apache and Mysql is start but localhost is not available is shown every time please help me i am also used this 127.0.0.1  but it is also not working

I suggest you contact software manufactured, they can help you check the logs, sometimes this issue occur because you have installed another web service like Apache or else

Check all this checkpoint, maybe you just missed something

1. make sure port 80 open, try to use this website
2. make sure you able to ping to localhost
3. check if skype is running, exit from skype
4. check services.msc if web deployment agent service is running
5. check if IIS is running, stop it.
