wordpad
I've searched high and low in the forums and haven't run across anything relating to this matter..doen't mean it isn't here..just that i haven't found it sooo...Has anyone had or is having trouble with wordpad?...I open the program about 10 seconds later a notification comes up...Windows wordpad application has stopped working...after checking..to no avail for a solution..it says "a problem has caused the program to stop working correctly"....Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution become available..I've installed..reinstalled re re installed all with no success...notepad works fine...I use wordpad quite often for a number of tasks reminders etc. and note pad just doesn't do it getting old is mandatory..growing up is an option

What version of Windows 7 are you using ? The reason I ask is I cannot recreate the above symptoms using the RC.Windows 7 x64 RC, Asrock K8NF6P, AMD64 3200+, 1.5GB RAM, Palit Geforce 8400GS 256MB, 500GB Maxtor SataII, Asus 1814BLT optical

The only thing I can contribute is that's most probably not a Wordpad problem. You can get those messages using any program you like, and in most cases (there may be others) it's just a background process which temporarily consumes too much CPU/memory and knocks the running program off.Mobile AMD64 3000+, VIA Apollo K8T800 chipset, 1 G RAM, ATIRadeonMobility 9700, 20x DVDRW, C:XPSP3 (55G),D:WIN7 (25G),F:DATA (250G)

Make sure you have the correct version of worpad.It my have bean accidentally replaced at some point.

Does the issue occurs in Safe Mode? If not, I suspect this is a software conflict issue. Could you please test the issue in Clean Boot?

I have the same problem. If I click on "Debug" I get a dialog that shows at the top the following message:"An unhandled win32 exception occurred in wordpad.exe [2812]"I have Win7 RC 64.

Sorry it took so long for a rely as I have been out on forest fires and haven't had a chance to mess with this issue..I have completed a clean install 4 times in an attempt to resolve this issue.....No it does no occur in safe mode.
