wireless connection needs network discovery
I found that my laptop needs to havenetwork discovery turned on in order to connect certain wireless networks. Can someonepls. explain this behavior?Thanks

If you want to know how to turn it on
, simply go to Control Panel > Classic View > Network and Sharing Center and make sure you have Network Discovery set to On.

I know how to turn it on/off. I just don't why certain wireless network requires it to be on in order to work.
