wireless connection
My wireless at home was working fine. Last night, it just went out. It works if I directly connect it to the modem(obviously as I'm online asking this question) but it isn't even showing a wireless connection being possible. My internet connection as a whole went out last night but my roommates is working fin with wifi. I have a Dell with Windows 7. Help? Thanks, Brittany

Are you able to see any wirless network to which you can connect? From Device manager Enable and disable your wireless network and then try to connect.

When i go to the bottom to connect my wireless isn't even an option. It doesn't show anything to connect to. It doesn't seem to be picking up the wireless option at all.

I'm not sure how it couldn't be. I was using the wireless connection last night and it just suddenly went out completely. The only way it works is with a direct connection. I'm not sure how to check that even since it isn't even showing a wireless connection to connect with

On the latop there would be key or button for the wireless make sure it is turned on. If it is one and still you don't see the wireless network there could be a possbilty that the wireless adaptor would have gone bad.
