wireless connection
I can connect to my router/modem with ethernet but cannot get on internet with wireless. i had to set the configuration manually becaiuse it would not do it automatically. It says thaa I am connected but no internet. i am using a Dell wireless card 1350 WLAN PC Card but have also tried a belkin USB wireless card. neither connects .1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi Al Br Please go to Network Connections and right click on wireless connectionselect properties and scroll down the list until you seeInternet Protocol TCP/IP double click on Internet Protocol TCP/IP and make sure that both options are set to Obtain IP address + Obtain DNS make sure that your windows wireless client is running.if you windows wireless client is running you should be able to see wireless networks also refresh the list.if not make sure that your windows wireless client is running and that also your wireless switch on the laptop is onhope that helps.
