wireless Home Network-Win7-Home Premium
I changed my HomeGroup Name on my Router and even though my computer shows it connects to the wireless router, I have no internet access. I have a laptop that connects ok to same router. I checked router DHCP clients and it doesn't show my desktop computer. I have tried several things from the Forum, but nothing is working. When I connect to the wireless network, under properties, the password shows only 8 dots, and my password is 15 characters. I re-enter the correct password and try to connect but it still doesn't work. When I pull up the password for the wireless network, it still shows 8 dots. When I connect to the wireless network, it can't identify the network type. I have tried deleting the profile for this wireless network but my computer still retains the information.
