XP home edition desk top wired host computer lost internet connection on shared network with win 7 wireless laptop. Laptop has internet connection on shared network, but not picking up host. Only picks up residential gateway and d-link. Host not picking up laptop, or residential gateway. Can't reconnect because TCP/IP settings are incorrect. Lan and 1394 are sending but not recieving. How do I reestablish internet on host, and work group on both? Workgroup name is still on both computers. Do I need to set up a new network and work group?Thanks,kbp 1 person got this answerI do too
