24 hours ago, working fine. reformatted a month ago, installed all my legit software and reregistered everything.now, in a boot loop and cant get anywhere. safe mode doesnt work, no mode works. it gives an error when i disable reboot on error.unmountable boot volume.i think if i can get into dos, with chkdsk i can probably fix the problem... but no way in there. any suggestions? sony vaio vgc-rb43windows xp sp3 home edition1 gb ram/pentium 4 (unknown presently the ghz etc)1 person needs an answerI do too

Boot into the Windows Recovery Console using a bootable XP installation CD.If you have no bootable XP media (or are not sure what you have) create a bootable XP Recovery Console CD and be sure.This is not the same as any recovery disks that might have come a store bought system.
