HiThat can happen if the Network card is Not functioning. I.e., hardware problem. If the Card is Onboard card, check in the BIOS if it is enable.Otherwise try another PCI card (should not cost more than $10).Example, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833127102 Jack-MVP Windows Networking. I have the same problem but I think that my Netword card is,wait is "Netword card" the same thing as a "network adapter" ?Because I don't know if I can find what my card is but I do have some identification of my network adapterwhich displays first as "Direct Parallel" with no yellow exclamation marks next to itthen it displays as a "Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection with a location of PCI bus 1, device 8, function 0, with no yellow exclamation marks to itthen it displays a "Microsoft Tun Miniport Adapter" with a network address of 192.168.0.1 and it has a driver named tunmp.sys and no yellow markthen the problems start of 2 duplicate listings of the "Microsoft Tun Miniport Adapter" both with yellow exclamation marksAnd I have updated the software driver to what is exactly the same that is listed above as tunmp.sys but still it has a network address of 169.254.179.171 and a yellow exclamation mark. And the 3rd duplicate is exactly the same as the prior 2 but with nothing filled in at the network address.Do the yellow exclamation marks mean that my computer is running worse? Because I would like to get rid of the errors because it is much more sluggish and slow moving. But then not terribly once I start deleting stuff. Sorry for the long question. If you could answer it would be great. Course I realize the best answer would be to get a new Windows 7 computer. Which I might be saving up for in which case I have to ask you does a Mac computer come with Windows 7 on it? Because I am going to get a MAC laptop because of no viruses and is its operating system completely different? Is it better to get the MAC operating system or to get it with Windows 7?
