I have a compaq mini and used the restore function yesterday. all went well until i tryed to reboot it. It now takes half and hour to move from the windows xp start page, just as long on the welcome page. my settings and tool bar then take a while to load, and i have to wait a life time for anything to respond when i click (even the start menu). it takes so long to shut down that it goes in to hibernate.please help.the xp was pre installed and i would be happy to re install it if i knew how.i have had a go at going back before the restore and had no luck there either. 1 person needs an answerI do too
