windows with the title bar positioned off the screen
When using multiple monitors, I often get problems with windows being positioned such that the title bar is off the top of the screen so you can't drag the window back in to play. I've used multiple monitors on many different PCs since 1999 and always had this problem - though it definitely seems to beexacerbated now by the fact that I hibernate the laptop when moving it between home and work, andmy secondary monitors at home and work are different resolutions. Until windows 7, you could right-click the window's icon on the taskbar and select "move", then use the cursor keys to move the window down, but this option is no longer there in windows 7. the only solution is to yank out the vga cable so all the windows get repositioned on the laptop display, then plug it back in and move them all back. why oh why couldn't someone make a 1 line code change to the window monitor that says "if I'm just about to draw a window where the title bar would be off the top of the screen then move it down a bit"

Tim, I agree, it's frustrating until you discover Windows-Shift-Left or Right. This will move the currently focussed window to the other display. You can also use Windows-Up, Down, Left or Right to move/snap Windows. Also, CTRL-Space-M will activate that old move item from the control menu for the current window.
