Good Morning all. I have received the windows vista (kb948465) service pack 2 upgrade downloaded to my computer through windows update. My computer is a dell inspiron/1501 and my operating system is microsoft vista home basic (x86-based pc) When I try to download the upgrade, I keep getting the windows update error 800b0100. It also says unknown system error. The second part of the install is microsoft .net framework 3.5 service pack 1 and .net framework 3.5 family update (kb951847) x86 which seems like it installs ok but I am getting a failure for itin the windows update window in the control panel. The install seems to fail after I accept the license for it that is sent for the install. This is the first upgrade sent to my computer that has not work since I bought the computer. I am at a loss of why this upgrade is not working. I have hit the try again button but still get the same error. Maybe you guys can send me in the right direction to fix this. I have internet 8 on my computer. I have also try to download the service tool to fix this but that has not work. You guys can send me an e-mail to let me know how to fix this.
