this seems to be a fail in progress, 3 apps, well got your av resident, antispy resident, leaving only one left. Hmmmmmm. gonna have to leave out any printer or scanner software if you want to use a third party download manager, perhaps leave out any CD/DVD burning software to run my printer. just doesn't seem very realistic. thank god I don't have to work on those third world systems when this is released.

The features of each edition of Windows 7 have not been finalized yet, though it has been rumored that Microsoft is going to get rid of the 3 program limit in Windows 7 Starter Edition. Even if the three program limit was kept, it would not include background processes like your anti-virus or other things like that. -Nick

That is old news. It was anounced several weeks ago that that limit was being removed. They also anounced the pricing yesterday.Tim Comes
