From the normal login screen, if you press Alt-Ctrl-Del twice, it should bring up a manual login window where you can enter your user name and password. If that won't work, try entering the user name "administrator" (no quotes) and leave the password blank. This should log you in as built-in administrator as long as the password for administrator has not been changed in the past.HTH, JW

I assume that at one point in time you could log on. If you can't log on as either yourself or administrator, then you might try the following procedure. It is rather involved (advanced) and may not work but what it does is basically gets you to the point where you can do a "System Restore". Assuming you have a System Restore point on your machine from before you had this problem, it should reset users and passwords to that point in time."How to Recover from a corrupted registry that prevents Windows XP from Booting" < http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307545 >For some reason, I can't bring up that page up now (they may have pulled it). If you can't either, try going to Google for a Cached copy of this page.HTH, JW
