Hi Bobwisda, Thanks for posting. To remove Outlook Express do the following. Please note you will need the Windows XP CD to reinstall this component. Click Start Click Control Panel Double-Click Add-Remove Programs Once the Add or Remove Programs icon is open, click the Add/Remove Windows Components tab on the left hand side of the screen. You should see Outlook Express listed there when the dialog box opens. Simply remove the check mark from the box next to Outlook Express and click "Next." You will see a progress bar as Outlook Express is being uninstalled, and when it is done, you can simply click Finish. Outlook Express has now been removed. Hope this helps! Hi ShawnI too prefer Windows Live Mail, having just installed it (I use Windows Xp Professional SP3), BUT every time I open Windows Live it immediately opens OE6!Unfortunately, the ADD/REMOVE solution for OE6 you give above does not work, nor does the "Set Program Access or Defaults" (remove access to OE6).Is there any other solution?
