When I access some picture files I get the message "window explorer has stopped working restarting" and then it defaults back to the desktop. Just stared this morning I have not added any software or changed anything to the best of my knowledge. My operating system is win7 home premium. I appreciate any help!! thanks, pumpkinridge

Look into Event Viewer logs. Without this information it is not easy to troubleshoot the problem. You can return to previous restore point. Rgds Milos
