windows defender turned off by group policy
i used to be able to run windows defender and i dont know if this is a coincidence before i installed norton..now i cannot run it as every time i do it says it is turned off by group policy... i know nothing about registry keys and dont want to even go there for fear that i screw something up..is there no easy solution

Hi, Norton will disable Windows Defender to avoid conflict which is by default. As you have Norton personanl firewall installed, you can ignore Windows Defender. You can also disable Norton Personal Firewall by right-clicking on the Norton Personal Firewall icon in the notification area of the taskbar and selecting disable.
