windows 8 metro bar mouse wheel scrolling fails
The mouse wheel scrolls the metro bar back and forth for a few seconds, then the bar stops responding to scrolling. The horizontal bar can still be dragged back and forth, but it only moves the green background, not the tiles! I have to for example double tap the win key (back and forth between desktop and metro bar) to make the metro bar scrollable again. Walking through the tiles with the arrow keys doesn't move the view either. The glitch is kind of cool since it shows that the developers hardly even tested the build with a mouse. I can imagine the developers fingering all over the screen looking for bugs, with the mouse collecting dust on the side. They probably don't even use a keyboard and mouse while coding it in visual studio, they coded the entire windows by fingering on a screen, amazing. It happens on both of my PCs, both the laptop and desktop. Both run win8 build 8102 in vmware 8.0.0 build-471780 with vmware tools installed inside win7 x64. Any solutions? Anyone else experience this? I installed the two updates for win 8 so far, they didn't address this issue.
