non-geek needs help

McAfee fixed levono.  Chose to have mess, bookmarks, deleted by them.  What is the correct address to recover bookmarks.

Search found them in MigApp.xml.   Further inquiries reversed find, saying no such item, item not found, etc.

Reading this and other tutorials are very helpful, but repairs cost.  Please email me the exact address to input and retrieve bookmarks back onto my computer.
