windows 7 user defined paper
During the period of windows 98 you could easily use "user define paper" to custom properly your paper to reach the following width 36 height 84, especially if you want to print special report and this has been tested with windows 98 and works successfully. But unfortunately after the release of windows XP and Vista this does not exist anymore. there is a limit with the last two operating system which is not accurate specially with Epson LQ series 1000 and above. Now with windows 7 RC 1 Microsoft bring it back but still with a limit and to chose properly the printer. which is Epson LQ 2090 ESC/P2 the maximum is width 36 and the height 55,88 and this is the maximum and if in case you install the following driver such as LQ Series (136) Graphic you cannot have a user defined paper completely. Hoping that Microsoft with it's final release of windows 7 can improve this area.Ounis Zoubir IT Manager / Network Consultant
