with windows 7 auto unstall..the time is set for 3am..of course i am not up at that time usually.if i am not up at that time..do i just get notified to initiate the process,or does download get down and i initiate installation ??peggy l burke

If you have updates set to download and install at 3am it should do it by itself as long as your computer is on. There are 4 options you can choose under change settings. Myself I have updates turned off and go in and check when I have the time. I check at least once a week.
