windows 7 student edition and virtualisation
General questions (I am a college student): 1: if I upgrade a Vista OEM to a microsoft windows 7 profesional is it then a OEM instalation, or will this windows be transferable to other computers? 1b: if it is transferable, how do I transfer it, as a HD image? 2: can the student edition be installed in a different language (english instead because my vista is danish, and it screws a lot up cos we use , instead of . to denote 1.000, and there are other issues with danish windows that bugs me) 3: can win7 use the "hardware profile" thingy so it can be loaded as both a Virtual and and "Real" windows or would that requre me to buy 2 windows licenses 3a: if I can only use one of them can I then only activate the virtual profile, or is this impossible because the virtual profile cannot be created before I have registerd the "normal profile"? 3b: because I am a student I can get windows 2008 server for free... even though I would only would use this as a normal computer, would it be a good "free replacement" for virtual windows 7 because it also uses the NT 6.x kernel? 3c: if the license isn't transferable, is it possible to install Windows XP as a virtual pc due the windows downgrade policy? 4: finaly if I swap two HD's in a windows vista and windows xp computer then I can reinstall windows on both of them and re-register even though they are OEM because only the HD has changed so windows still detects it as the same computer (I am pretty sure that the motherboard is what constitutes a computer acording to MS, but I just wanna be sure before I destroy 2 licenses)
