windows 7 remote desktop
Using windows 7 professional 32 bit I was unable to connect to a windows 2003 server in terminal services and span across 2 monitors. It works fine with XP. After poking around I found that you need either enterprise or ultimate to do this. I used the anytime upgrade option and spent 129 bucks and still can't do it. Is there something Im missing? Please help.

Once the you have performed the anytime upgrade i would recommend then performing a Windows Update to end ensure everything is upto date in regards to the license update Then ensure that in the MSTSC settings the check box Use all my monitors is selected Kind Regards Jack Stevens

Hi, Remote Desktop Connection supports high-resolution displays that can be spanned across multiple monitors. However, the total resolution on all monitors must be under 4096 x 2048 pixels. The monitors must have the same resolution. Additionally, the monitors must be aligned side-by-side. To have the desktop of the remote computer span multiple monitors, type Mstsc /span at a command prompt or enable the following option in RDC: For RDC connection issue, if you get any error message when you connecting to the server, please let me know. However, you could follow Thefazu’s advice to check the firewall setting and the security software. And you could also check this problem in Clean Boot to determine whether this problem is casued by software or port confliction. In addition, please refer: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc780927(WS.10).aspx Hope that helpsPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
