windows 7 pro is not connecting to windows server 2003 premium
Dear All, Please anybody can help me. I have a SBS Server 2003 Premium and recently I bought a windows 7 pro and windows 7 home basic both also not able to use shared folders from the server. 1) At the same time in Windows XP sp2 can use shared folder from the server. 2) I have done some settings in the windows 7 pro -Enable network Discovery -Turn on file and print sharing -Turn off password protected sharing -Use user accounts and passswords to connect to other computer 3) The other settings such as encryption i have set as use 128 bit encryption 4) I have done some setting in gpedit.msc -computer configuration/windows settings/security/settings/local policies/security/settings. 5) I have enabled some policies Network Access: Allow anonymous SID/name translation Network access: Let everyone permissions apply to anonymous users 6) I have disabled some settings. Network access: Restrict anonymous access to named pipes and shares Network access: Do not allow anonymous enumeration of SAM accounts Network Access: Do not allow anonymous enumeration of SAM accounts and shares and the server side I tried to change it but could not. Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if neogotiated.. and same setting I have done in windows 7 but not in windows 7 home basic please help me as soon as possible.

Windows 7 professional are OK and Windows 7 Home are not expected to join domain. Upgrade to Professional. Regards Milos
