windows 7 not letting me to use higher monitor resolution
hello, first of all i just upgraded to win 7 from Sp2 and after installing all the monitor and video drivers win 7 isn't letting me to choose higher resolution rather than 1024/768. when i had Sp2 i was running on 1360/768 my card is Nvidia gt 220 and monitor is Samsung sync master 931 BW. any idea what went wrong?

I know you said that you have installed drivers for your monitor, but does it actually show as a samsung monitor in display settings? If it shows as a VGA monitor (or something similar) then try clicking on the button that says "detect" and see if it gives your more resolution options. Its the only thing I can think of really.

Hi, Also, try to install the graphic card driver to check if it works.
