Hi Mu.Ani, That icon was previously used in Windows XP SP2 for the preferred network connection symbol. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb878093.aspx Recently it has been related to adware or possibly malware. Also, have you installed any other network connectivity software related to the usb adapter? If yes, try uninstalling it and use the drivers only for the usb network adapter and let Windows control the connection. You can try, Start>Control Panel change the view to large or small icons. Select the Notification Area Icons. Located at the bottom left is an option to restore default icon behavior. Select that to reset.

thanx Nano Warp i've tried to re install the driver several times but it was the same. i uses two lan's one built in and the other is PCI the built in was missing form the network connections, so i've reinstall the lan driver, removed the Wlan software, restarted the PC, installed the Wlan software, updated the driver, and now i can see the Bars. :)
