windows 7 memory - structure of memory managment
Windows 7 32 bit is limited to 4 GB unless you use PAE or similar smoke and mirror memory management. What is the maximum amount of memory that is available for the 32 bit Windows kernal? What is the maximum amount of memory that can be used by one thread? What memory settings can increase or decrease the amount of memory available to the kernal and increase or decrease the application address space? Is there any difference with the memory management with Windows 7 64 bit say compared to Windows Server 2008 64 bit in regards to the above? Thanks, Bob
