windows 7 firewall outbound rules disappear after launching the specific program
I am trying to run BrickForce with the firewall options "outbound connections that do not match a rule are blocked" in windows 7 firewall. I put in rules to allow the program to connect to the internet on all ports and in domain, private, and public networks. Once I launch the program, the rules disappear in the outbound rules section. It only disappears when I launch the program; it doesn't disappear otherwise. No other programs do this. Note that BrickForce is a program in beta. I have rules in the inbound section as well, but they work properly. I am using windows 7 ultimate 64-bit. Has anyone had this problem? Can someone reproduce this? Opinions on how to fix?

I have, and the community manager said to contact customer support directly. I did that, and the support basically said that it was a windows issue and that it wasn't Brick-Force's fault.

Hi, Please check whether this issue will occur if remove this program. If the firewall option is no problem, we can confirm this issue is related to the BrickForce and you should contact them for help. Regards Vincent Wang TechNet Community Support

I do not understand what you want me to test. If I remove the BrickFroce program, I am unable to test whether or not BrickForce will remove the BrickForce outbound rules. Are you trying to tell me to check if removing/uninstalling BrickForce will remove the BrickForce rules?

Hi, Since only BrickFroce rules in Windows firewall disappeared when you run this program, I suggest you contact their support for help. Thank you for your understanding. Regards Vincent Wang TechNet Community Support
