windows 7 domian printer issue
we have 3 computers in an office that are all part of a domian. one of the computers has a usb printer connected to it. the other two computers can see the printer and can connect to it. however if any of the computers print to the printer the only way for the printer to print whats in the que is to restart the machine the printer is connected to. im not sure if it matters but all local user acconts on all machines have been disabled. we has setup the security so all domain users can print to the printer. does anyone have any ideas what could be going on.

Hi, What will occur if you don't restart the machine? Receiving error message or no response? Does the issue occur on the PC which is connected to the printer? The issue could be related to the printer itself or the networking. I suggest referring to the following methods to test the issue. 1. Update the latest printer driver on each computer from the manufacture's site. Pay attention to 32-bit and 64-bit. 2. Update the network adapter for the computers as well. 3. Perform a clean boot and disable any security software or firewall temporarily. 4. After sending document in queue, go to check spooler service. Check spooler service ---------------------------------------- a. Click Start, type services.msc in Start Search bar, and then press Enter. b. In the right pane, double-click Print Spooler. c. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, click Apply, click Stop to stop the service temporarily. d. go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS, empty this folder. e. go back to service windows, and then click Start to start the Print Spooler.
