ok once i installedwindows 7 betai go to use the internet and it says i have no internet connection so i went to see what the problem is and its something about the drivers and i got to update and it says i cant that a driver was not installed or something so i dont know whats reallt wrong my older brother wont help me eaither any help?i got a xp pro sp: 3 windows 7 beta works but no ethernet controller working

To be honest, if you dont know what a driver is you shouldnt be testing Win7!

Open Control Panel and go to System and open Device Manager. It sounds like a device there hasn't been installed properly. Once you discover what piece of hardware it is, read through the forums about where to get a driver from and install it.FYI Device Manager shouldn't have an sections open or any hardware items with a big yellow question mark. They are the ones missing drivers.Just remember Win 7 is beta and doesn't have full driver support so often you have to improvise.cheers

Install the latest Vista 32-bits/64-bits driver for your network adapter, you can usually find these either on the manufacturer's website or the website of the manufacturer of your motherboard.
