P Cruz:What program are you using that uses 100% CPU? If a program is using 100% CPU when it shouldn't be, there may be a bug with the program or it may be best not to run it at all. There are advanced power options available at "Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options > Edit Plan Settings" and clicking the "Change advanced power settings" link in that dialog. The advanced power settings that will likely apply to your problems with heat are under "Processor power management". Maximum processor state may have to be set at less than 100%, which would make your computer run slower but stay slightly cool. You may also see less heat if you set "System cooling policy" to active.Hopefully this helps.-Nick

Thanks NickI am using Infologia50 from Sage Portugal. Its a work software,it can have problems, but i like it when working.I have4 solutions: 1 - to buy a laptop with a cpu like Pentium core 2 duo, probably it is going to use only 50% of the cpu (not a very good solution, the problemstill remains) 2 -to buy a new software to work (not sure) 3 - to buy cpu idle and use it (maybe) 4-to try your solution on the advanced power settings (the firstto do)But i still dont understand why cpuidle works on a way that Microsoft idle dosent.
