According to my knowledge, what you want to do is not feasable. Only admins are able to use Bitlocker encryption and this is for security reasons. Best regards.

What MS helper says is correct, you have to be admin to do this. Why do you want a normal user to be able to change this?Don't forget about Alt+Esc!

Infact as far as any admin level activity on Bitlocker is concerned like enabling/disabling/changing password etc may require local or domain level rights but for unlocking a drive if there is no other way than admin rights ,will not be a good option. As in our Organization, we may enable this feature for data security on all computers but we can not delegate admin rights to all users for unlocking of a drive only, as the idea of Active Directory will fail here. So i would rather request that there should be any back door that will allow this unlocking of own data to users without assigning him admin rights.
