windows 7 64 pro - no internet access
HI having happily used windows 7 pro and the internet for many months happily today i could pull my own hair out - basically my laptop connects to my wireless router but always returns no internet access - this happens at both my office and home. However
my htc hero and wifes netbook can happily connect to the same routers while my laptop returns with no internet access. So i hard hard wired it into the routers directly and still no internet access. This has suddenly happened today for no reason. I have tried
a system resore to yesterday - but this hasn't solved it and i really would welcome any suggestions as to why it will not work.
any help gretly appriciated. robbiemcd

Hi,
Currently, you could uninstall your network drivers, and then reinstall them for test:
1.
Click the Start Button, type Device Manager in the search bar and press Enter. Click Continue if necessary.
2.
Expand the "Device Category name" category.
3.
Right click "Device Name" we are using and click Uninstall.
4.
Then restart computer, install the drivers.
I suggest you boot into Safe Mode with networking to check the result. If this issue does not occur in Safe Mode, we could try to perform
Clean Boot to narrow down the root cause.
Hope it helps.
