windows 7 ( 7100 32 bit) screen goes blank after login
I just installed windows 7 on my machine. It works fine but when i log in from the sleep screen, the screen goes blank but not into power saver mode. Ive waited as long as 5 minuets to see if it will snap out of it. I can some times see the mouse in the center of the screen that goes to the blue circle ( hourglass) but nothing comes up. If i do a ctrl_alt_del and then het enter a few times i can usally get it to pop up. after which its fine the entire time Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be?

crash - The Windows 7 RC (build 7100) has some known issues with sleep and hibernation. These are to some degree related to drivers and in part to the RC code as well. 1.) Make sure you've got the most up to date drivers for every bit of hardware you've got installed.2.) Make sure you've got the most up to date BIOS update for your system.3.) Make sure Windows 7 RC has all of the latest patches and updates. If you've done all that, there really isn't much elseyou can do short of installing the RTM code when you can get access to it. I understand the sleep/hibernation features are better in the final code. In the mean time, you can disable sleep/hibernation and not let the machine go into that mode.
