I'd almost say: If you don't know that, you'd better not play with it. Seriously, you asking this on this particular website would lead me to believe you want to do this for a Windows 7 install. Just put the DVD in the computer and specify a partition for the install. If no partition exists on the hard drive, you'll have this option. Hi, Is Drive C available in the laptop now? Have you installed Windows 7 on the machine? If the system is already installed and there is no drive named drive C, you can open Disk Management and change the drive letter. By default, the drive C is already assigned to the system partition and you cannot modify it.
