I'd almost say: If you don't know that, you'd better not play with it. Seriously, you asking this on this particular website would lead me to believe you want to do this for a Windows 7 install. Just put the DVD in the computer and specify a partition for the install. If no partition exists on the hard drive, you'll have this option. Keep us posted, but please be specific and give details when asking something. Cheers Rem

Hi, Is Drive C available in the laptop now? Have you installed Windows 7 on the machine? If the system is already installed and there is no drive named drive C, you can open Disk Management and change the drive letter. By default, the drive C is already assigned to the system partition and you cannot modify it. If there is no system on the laptop and you would like to install the system to drive C, please refer to the following article: Install Windows 7 Thanks, Novak
