window installer package
I am runnig windows 7 64 bit IE 9 and i can not intall java at all cause the installer package give me an error message.This installation could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it or contact the application vendor to
verify that this is a valid windows installer package. I have tried everything, is there anything thing i can do to get this fixed?

Unregister and re-register the Windows Installer
Click Start, click Run, type MSIEXEC /UNREGISTER, and then click
OK. Even if you do this correctly, it may look like nothing occurs.
Click Start, click Run, type MSIEXEC /REGSERVER, and then click
OK. Even if you do this correctly, it may look like nothing occurs, or you may briefly see an hourglass. After you run this command, the operation is complete.
Try your Windows Installer-based application again.
Delete the java package that you have downloaded and re-downloaded and try to install again.
