when I take a snapshot using the snipping tool and save it, it is saved but the file is hidden. can anyone help me to solved this?

I have the same problem on a brand new Dell laptop that I just bought last Fri. The Snipping Tool worked just fine whe I first got it home, but then I did all of the setup downloads from Microsoft and McAfee (came preloaded on the laptop). How do I get around this problem? Does McAfee or MS have a fix? Do I need to change security to Norton?
