win7 - ping routr
Hi I just installed windows 7 64b home premium - clean install CPU: Q9550S RAM: 8GB NET: onboard realtek 8111b GPU: nvidia GTX260 MB: gigabyte GA-P35-S3 rev.1.0 Sound: onboard Router: ASUS WL500W I tried ping to my router via ping -t -l 1000 IP. Result was 1ms for all time. But when I run some game which used LAN connection (in this case Lineage - it is unreal old game) then pings goes higher ane jumping between 20-700 ms. (in Vista 64b and 32 XP is all ok). If I tried downloading or uploading then running game then FPS in old game is going under 20 FPS ... normaly it is playable. If I look at process manager then I see that 1st core is used for 100%. (for all time when the game is running and also ping to router is running or download / upload ) when I set for this game using core 2,3,4 then pings are ok 1 ms. Does somebody knows how to fix? Becauase setting manualy cores for all games is not good idea for me.
