I have installed Windows 7 build 7100 on a thinkpad t40 and the installation is fine apart from the fact it is impossible to connect to a wirelss network in order to connect to the internet. I have a router Asus am 604g BTW I have already installed Windows 7 build 7000 on an Acer extensa 5620z about a month ago and everything including the wifi to the same router is working very well.

Havril, Try going to the Thinkpad website and downloading the Windows Vista driver for your wireless card. It's very likely to work under Windows 7, too.-Alex
