Widows vista home premium - no matter how many times I disable or remove Yahoo msgr from startup programs in windows defender it manages to reapply itself. How do I stop this from happening???

Hi You need to find out where the program is actually starting from. Go to Start and type msconfig in the Search Box. In the Results, click msconfig.exe. Click the Startup Tab and look in that list for the Yahoo Messenger program. Remove the check mark from that item. Click Apply/OK and reboot the computer.
