why extra Users?
I have a Windows XP Tablet. I had an issue that required me to re-image ie re-install Windows. I am the owner and only user. When I look at Control Panel > User Accounts, I see only 2 users - Jeff and Guest. Guest account if off. But when I look at My Computer > C:\Documents and Settings, I see icons for all of these users - not in this order: Administrator, Administrator.JEFF-A40763A256, Jeff.JEFF-A40763A256, All Users, All Users.WINDOWS, Default User, Default User.WINDOWS, GuestSeems like there is some kind of duplication. Not sure what that A40763A256 is, but it is the "Domain" that seems to be used by default in my OmniPass password software (?).My items all seem to be under Jeff.JEFF-A40763A256I am not sure if this is all normal or was somehow created by the reimage.1 person needs an answerI do too

Discuss it with your domain Admin and check or rebuild Active Directory and group policy, it might cause by recreating new admin or add to AD.

Success! I was able to use Unlocker to delete it. I am a single user at home on a tablet, so no domain Admin. I don't know what Active Directory or group policy is. But it is gone. I am happy.

Ok, glad it resolved and thank you for sharing us with that. If you are NOT in domain there is no Active Directory and NO group policy.
