why Is sound in headphones getting low and high by itself ?
hii everybody :) I'll keep this as short as possible, My system: I have Windows 7 ultimate (86 bit) Installed in my laptop which is Acer aspire 4738 with i5 processor. the Problem: the problem I have is with the sound volume when I plug the headphones( speakers are fine), one second its great and loud and then decreases and keep on decreasing untill all of the sudden goes extremely low I can barley hear it and this with happens with the volume slider set to max. what I've tried ( and obviously didn't work) reinstalled the sound Drivers (were already updated) checked the playback devises settings ( I only see speakers no headphones or other devises are listed) checked the volume level on media players (real player, windows media player) bought a new pair pf headphones reinstalled windows all over again what do you suggest me to do ? :(

Hi, Does the sound play well by other output like loudhailer? Please logon with Clean Boot to see if the same issue occurs. Also make a whole disk scan to check if any virus on your PC. And update BIOS to the latest version. Furthermore, since the issue occurs even reinstall Windows 7. I suspect the issue may related with the shortcut key on your keyboard. You can contact PC manufacturer to check.
