which user installed certain programs on the computer

I found software installed without knowledge administrators and How do i identify the user name who installed the software.

As far as I know there is no way of knowing who installed what, especially if everyone is an administrator. Best thing to do is make yourself the only administrator on the machine. That way you can control what is installed.

Hi,
Based on my knowledge this function cant be archived under Windows 7. But you can set permission for each account to allowed someone can install software in your machine, such like administrator
or guest.
