which registry key keeps recreating msimn.exe?
i am trying to completely uninstall/delete outlook express from my computer...my registry no loner contains references to:Microsoft Works, Microsoft Office 2003, Windows Addressbook, WinWord.exe, Wordpad, Messenger...what else keeps recreating the Outlook Express folder?I don't care about IE... so if i have to disable that too... i'm fine with that...oscar

Outlook Express cannot be completely removed, various other applications use bits anbd pieces of it. You can try disabling the Outlook Express from Control Panel > Add or remove Windows Features.For Additional Help on Outlook Express Post your querieshere

thanks Hal, but when anyone tells me i can't uninstall, sorta reinforces my michevious desire to figure out a way to do it anyhow... ;>) and ... uhh... Guruprasad, Outlook has never appeared in my add/remove and now when i attempt to open Control Panel > Add or remove Windows Components ( media center win xp sp3) i get the following error: setup was unable to open information file hide contact your system administrator, the specific error code is 0x2 at line 0
