Hi, By default, on Windows XP and Windows Server 2003, the data for folder view settings and for customizations is stored in the following registry keys: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags But Windows Vista, windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 instead use the following registry key to store this information: HKCU\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell So, when you use Windows 7, the folder view store in HKCU\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell, they are same though.
